[Advisory] Berlin 13 Open Access Conference

Dear colleagues,

Like Georg, my apologies for not contributing previously.

Whilst a detailed discussion of any particular national legislation may not be essential, I do think that there are aspects of national systems that have an important impact on open access, both positive and negative, and it could be of use to have some of those discussed?

Best wishes,

Liam

Dear all,

I'm sorry to enter he discussion only now.

I'm not sure whether discussing legal aspects from a certain national legislation (like copyright in France) will be a valuable contribution to the overall goals of the conference. Giving the global audience of the meeting and the rather specific aspects (and the often rather difficult legal details) of copyright laws I doubt we should follow this suggestion.

Or am I missing your point, Katrine?

Best,
Georg
