Dear labfolder user,

Recently we've updated labfolder to the newesr server version 1.29.4.
Here are some detailed information about that last release and new functionalities you can try out:

In addition the latest version features a new functionality which Labforward developed in collaboration with Tecan: Well Plate Templates.
This feature is available for free to all users on the local server that are a member of a group and expands the capabilities of the ELN:

  * Simple select the additional icon in the entry header (which appears as a 6-well layout)
  * Choose from a number of different well-plate formats ranging from 6- to 384- wells
  * Customize your plate layout with colors and layers to distinguish different conditions
  * Use the exclusive composite feature to oversee the entire plate in a single view
To find out more, visit the Labfolder website at www.labfolder.com/well-plate-templates/<http://www.labfolder.com/well-plate-templates/>.

The new version also features novel endpoints for the API v2, which can now fully replace the API v1. Hence, the API v1 will be deprecated after April 28, 2020. If you have scripts that are using the API v1, please make sure that you migrate them to API v2. You can find the full documentation of the API v2 at eln.labfolder.com/api/v2/docs/development.html<http://eln.labfolder.com/api/v2/docs/development.html>.

For more details on further improvements (additional physical quantities in the numerical data elements and a brand new support portal), please visit the release notes via www.labfolder.com/release-notes/server/<http://www.labfolder.com/release-notes/server/>

We hope you enjoy the new Labfolder features! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Labfolder support via feedback at labfolder.com<mailto:feedback at labfolder.com>. Our support team is always happy to help!

Take care!
With best wishes,
Juliane
